  • Davao del Norte brings you the new logo for the tagline "One DavNor One Team".
    Here's the explanation.
    1. The 11 happy people represent the progressive 11 local government units (LGUs) of Davao del Norte that are now working closely together with the Provincial Government in attaining equitable, balance, inclusive sustainable development.
    2. The different colors of the various LGUs stand for the diversity of our Dabaonon society, where we refuse to dwell on individuality but rather focus on the interplay of these colors that results in a beautiful kaleidoscope adorning the province.
    3. The hand number one sign (raised index finger), aside from being the well-known symbol of victory and power, reflects the aspiration of the Dabaonon people to lead the march to progress and remain united on all fronts.
    4. The two (2) ribbons stand for the offices of the 1st and 2nd District Congressmen, who have pledged their all-out support to the programs, projects activities of the Provincial Government.
    5. The whole design symbolizes a Coat Arms, signifying the distinctive heraldic bearing or shield of the people of Davao del Norte from internal conflicts and external shocks. We believe that no amount of adversity could dampen the resolve of an empowered and resilient people in attaining a better life and in creating a better future for the next generations of Dabaonons.
